Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or guardian, to register or participate. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Tournament Participation

You must follow official tournament rules and any policies set by hosting courses. We may refuse, revoke, or disqualify participation for conduct that violates rules or creates an unsafe environment.

3. Payments, Weather & Refund Policy

Entry fees must be paid in full to secure participation. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details.

All entry fees are generally non-refundable except as outlined below.

Weather & Course-Related Cancellations

All tournaments are subject to the policies and decisions of the hosting golf course. The hosting course has sole authority to delay, suspend, or cancel play due to weather or unsafe conditions.

• If play is canceled before all teams complete 9 holes, the event will be considered incomplete. In such cases, participants may receive a rain check, credit, or other compensation as determined by the hosting course and/or NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC.
• If all teams complete at least 9 holes, the tournament will be considered official and complete, and no refunds or credits will be issued.
• If an event is canceled prior to the start of play and cannot be rescheduled, NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC may issue a refund or event credit at its discretion.

NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC is not responsible for decisions made by the hosting course regarding playability, cancellations, or course conditions.

General Refund Policy

• All other entry fees are non-refundable.
• No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or voluntary withdrawal from an event.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Participation in golf tournaments and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury from golf balls, clubs, carts, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and other participants.

By registering for and participating in any event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, sponsors, and any hosting golf courses and their staff from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to your participation in any event.

This includes, without limitation, claims resulting from negligence, course conditions, weather, equipment, or actions of other participants.

You further agree that NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property at any event.

5. Prize Payouts & Tax Responsibility

Prize pools and payouts are determined based on event format, participation, and scoring results. NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC reserves the right to adjust prize structures, payouts, and distributions at its sole discretion.

Any advertised or displayed prize pool amounts are based on a projected minimum number of participating teams. Actual payouts may be adjusted proportionally based on final registration numbers and total entry fees collected.

• If an event is shortened, suspended, or canceled, prize payouts may be modified, reduced, or redistributed accordingly.
• All scoring, placements, and results are considered final once officially posted by NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC.
• All rulings and decisions made by NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC are final.

Tax Reporting

Prize winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with winnings.

• Winners may be required to complete a W-9 form prior to receiving prize payouts.
• NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC may issue a Form 1099 (or equivalent) for winnings that meet applicable reporting thresholds.

Failure to provide required tax documentation may result in delayed or forfeited prize payouts.

6. Code of Conduct

Players must adhere to event rules, pace of play, and course etiquette. We may impose penalties (including disqualification) for rule violations or unsportsmanlike behavior.

7. Media Release

You grant NEON GREENS GOLF CO LLC a royalty-free license to use event photos/videos that include you for promotional purposes (website, social media, print), without additional compensation. Contact us if you have special considerations.

8. Intellectual Property

All site content, branding, and event names are the property of Neon Greens Golf LLC and may not be used without written permission.

9. Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Venue and jurisdiction reside in Missouri courts, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site or participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
